ISLAMABAD, May 15 (Appendix): State Minister of Information and Broadcasting Farrukh Habib said on Saturday that Prime Minister Imran Khan has proven that no one can commit corruption in his government.
He said screaming about a problem around the ring road is like bringing coal to Newcastle, he said in a statement in response to comments from PML-N spokesman Marriyum Aurangzeb.
He said that Prime Minister Imran Khan set an excellent example by reviewing the ring road project.
Farrukh Khabib said that in the PML-N era, a scandal with 36 companies erupted, billions of rupees were invested in Raiwind Road, billions of rupees were wasted on Jati Umrah Palace, and camps were set up, but no investigations were carried out. not a single case was initiated against any minister.
He said that during PML-N’s reign, the record for projects was set on fire, as the record for the Metro bus at LDA Plaza was destroyed in a fire.
He said that the fact-finding committee prepared a report following the investigation, and the issue of land acquisition worth 2.5 billion rupees was sent to the NAB, and the responsible bureaucrats were removed from their posts.
The officers concerned will be reviewed at the departmental level and the NAB is investigating the matter as well.
